Podcasts and Interviews

This page is a running list of all the podcasts, interviews and talks I have appeared on in personal capacity.
Talk That Science invited me to speak on my research on developing deep learning algorithms to better understand cancers in women. I introduce the field of computational pathology and how AI can help in personalising cancer treatment. Its utility in minimising the adverse side effects of adjuvant chemotherapy and biomarker discovery is discussed. I also talk a little bit about my professional and personal life.
In this podcast with Lokagatha, I interview Dr Bhaskar Kamble (PhD in Physics, IIT Kanpur). We discuss his book The Imperishable Seed. Dr Kamble has provided historical records that trace the origins of modern mathematical ideas such as number theory, algebra, geometry and calculus to ancient Hindu civilization in the Indian subcontinent. He sheds lights on why the western world shies away from acknowledging pioneering Indian contribution to mathematics.
In this podcast with Lokagatha, I interview “Yajnadevam” (Original name hidden) to learn about his research on the decipherment of the Indus Valley Script. Yajnadevam proposes a falsifiable method to coherently decipher the oldest writing system found in the Indian subcontinent. His decipherments have found that the language used by the people of the Indus valley civilization is classical Sanskrit (Post-Paninian). He proposes a theory which positions the Brahmi writing system as an abstraction developed over the Indus writing system. Some interesting artefacts which are found in archeological sites across India such as the black buck seal establishes the Indus valley civilization as flourishing throughout the subcontinent.
In this two part workshop, I speak with Dr Manish Pandit on his book 3067BCE: Dissection of Theories on The Mahabharata. He makes a concrete case for dating the Mahabharata war to 3067BCE using the astronomy within the Indian epic. His unique contribution to this body of work includes proper analysis of Bheeshma Moksha and Balarama’s pilgrimage.
In this series of Podcasts, I speak with Lokagatha and discuss the philosophical differences between the ontology and epistemology of modern empirical science and the vedic philosophy.
In this podcast with Lokagatha, I introduce the Sankhya Yog of the Bhagavad Gita to the viewers.
